Therefore, it’s perfect for a USB flash drive or external disk, especially when you need to save files more than 4GB in size. You should go ahead and format your storage drive with exFAT instead of FAT32, assuming that all devices you want to use the drive support exFAT. Most USB flash drives configured with a FAT32 type, which it cannot receive file larger than 4GB. Manufacturers often choose this format because it can be used variety of operating systems. Hello,

I recently bougt a new Windows PC for video-editing.

I have around 80GB's of video files on my mac and I want to transfer them to my new Windows PC. I Have a Lacie (external flash drive?) of 250GB that I want to use to do that. The problem is that USB's can only work with Windows and Mac if they are FAT formatted, and FAT formatted USB's have a maximum of 4GB's. So doing it that way would take forever.

I also tried to transfer my files over wifi, but my internet connection has a maxium of 300kb per second, so that would take forever too.

So in short:

Is there any possibility to transfer my files from a mac to a windows PC?

I realy hope someone can offer a solution...
